Breguet Heritage Tourbillon 18K Rose Gold

Demonstrating Breguet’s unrivaled mastery over Grand Complications and centuries-old hand craftsmanship, the Heritage Tourbillon (Ref. 5497BR/12/9V6) is an extraordinary tribute to the invention of the tourbillon by Abraham-Louis Breguet. The timepiece is anchored by a curved, tonneau-shaped case crafted from solid 18K rose gold, measuring 42 mm x 35 mm. Its refined proportions feature delicate, hand-engraved fluted case-bands along the flanks and short, ergonomic lugs with screw-pins that allow the case to drape fluidly around the wrist.

Protected by a dual-curved, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the silvered 18K gold dial is a spectacle of hand-engraved engine-turning (guilloché main). An off-centered sub-dial at the top displays the time using blued steel Breguet open-tipped hands, framed by an 18K rose gold inner ring. Oversized Roman numerals radiate outward across the textured background. Positioned at 6 o'clock is the centerpiece: a rotating 60-second tourbillon cage, whose bridge forms a stylized Roman numeral "VI" that serves as the hour marker at the base of the dial. Powered by the manual-winding Manufacture Calibre 187H, this movement operates at 21,600 vph with a 50-hour power reserve and is finished with exquisite hand-engraving visible through the exhibition caseback. The watch is completed with a hand-stitched brown alligator leather strap secured by an 18K rose gold triple-folding clasp.
